Former Bentley Rythm Ace's Mike Stokes releases solo album 'DriveBye' 10th April 06.

 

When Bentley Rhythm Ace hung up their microphones, chucked their filthy wigs and sent the Skoda car to the scrap dealer, Mike Stokes was rarely seen for two years. If you did see him during that time you would have had to been family, a great mate or one of the two people whose albums he recorded.

 

But even when they had finished why had he not written any of his own tunes? Could it be that all along he was the Andrew Ridgley of B.R.A? Or, after the B.R.A rollercoaster ride his poor batteries had taken a hammering and normality was what he craved?

 

Whatever the reason, his batteries are fully charged again, the police have returned his driving license, so buckle up and enjoy the ride with DJ Drive D.

 

drive dd release their debut album Drivebye on 10th April 06 and the album will be available to buy online via www.absorbmusic.co.uk. The album is a mixture of collaborations resulting in a party vibe throughout each track. Co-collaborators include MB Whoosh, Richard March, Charlie Manali, Ben Calvert and Sophia Lolley.
